Every pupil and staff member at Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School is assigned a house. It is our intention to create a long standing tradition that creates competition, promotes good work and behaviour, encourages teamwork, provides opportunities to take on responsibilities and brings everyone in the school together.
Children can gain house points in class, from lunch time awards, golden awards and representing the school in inter-school competitions.
In addition, children can represent their house in termly spelling netball, football and times tables competitions and whole house events such as house singing and house music competitions.
Each house has a Year 6 House and Vice-Captain who have weekly duties to perform. One of the duties is collecting weekly the points from every class.
Each term a beautiful trophy is awarded to the winning house.
