‘Mud Run’: Many Congratulations to our four members of staff who completed the ‘Mud Run’ on Saturday 6 May – raising £600 for Cancer Research. Well done to Mrs Tomlinson, Miss Craddock, Mrs Broadhurst and Mrs Harrison- you certainly deserved your ‘Race for Life’ medals
School Picnic: Fantastic Afternoon Fun It was a pity about the damp/ cloudy weather- but this didn’t spoil what was a really special family afternoon last Friday at our ‘decades’ picnic. It was great fun seeing all of the children and staff dressed up in some fantastic ‘decade’ outfits....well done to everybody for making such an effort, it was a huge success from start to finish. The picnic was a fantastic way to end a whole school Maths Project and the children have really enjoyed learning about so many aspects of respective decades. The DJ kept everybody smiling, the music was great, and we all had a great time. Our thanks to all of our parents and former pupils who came along and joined in to help make this event such a success. Photographs can be seen on the school blogs and Facebook account.
